Hot Spots United Nations 45th state, the state is situated in the western region. The state got its named from the tribe Ute which means “People of the Mountains”. The state provides a major contribution to the government services, mining and is also a major centre for transportation and information technology and research.
Salt Lake City:
Salt Lake City is the capital of the state Utah and was founded by Brigham Young and his follower in 1848. The city is also known as SLC.
- Temple Square: Spreaded in 10-acre region and surrounded by 15ft high walls Temple Square is one of the SLC’s most famous tourist spot. Salt Lake temple, Salt Lake Tebernacle and salt Lake Assembly Hall are also some of the tourists spots contained within Temple Square.
- Salt Lake Temple: One of the largest and famous among the 130 temples of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Sanity. It was the 6th temple built by the church.
- Museum of Church History and Art: History of Mormon Church and religious art of 19th -20th century can be seen here. The museum is also famous for children activities and log home for 1847.
- Beehive House: It was the house of Brigham Young and his large family of 19 wives and 56 children when he was the governor of the Utah state in 1854 and also the leader of Mormons.
- Utah Museum of Fine Arts: One of the finest museum of Utah it contains permanent collections of tribal , Western and modern art. International Traveling shows are also booked in this museum.
Antelope Island State Park:
Best beaches for swimming and hiking can be found here. It is also a home to the country’s largest bison herds.
Bingham Canyon Copper Mine:
Bingham canyon is the world’s largest copper mine and also the largest man-made hole done in the earths surface which provides a excellent view in the interior level of the mine.
Wasatch Mountains and North:
For people who carry a passion for skiing Utah has fantastic low-density, low-moisture snow which makes it the most tremendous skiing in some of the North America. The skiing scene was the organizer of the winter Olympics in 2002.
Zion National Park:
Zion National Park is open throughout the year but the best time to visit is the spring or the autumn season as thunderstorms can be felt in the July and august. Different species of plants can be found here like ashes, Douglas fir is found here. Animals like mule deer and bighorn sheep are also found here.
- Zion Canyon Section: With 3,000ft of high walls the Zion Canyon exists in the southeastern region with rough roads and services. The Zion canyon visitor section is pretty informative as one can gain maps, books and other information there.
Bryce Canyon National Park:
An ascending order of the steplike rocks stretching from north of the Grand Canyon can be seen at the Bryce Canyon National Park. A variety of animals can be seen here like mule deer, coyotes and skunks.
